Community Service First of all, thank you very much for all of those who
have volunteered during the 2009-2010 school year! You have helped the
community and the Unit through your fine work. Community Service is just as
crucial to our NJROTC unit as our teams are. We have completed 40 community
services, all ranging from the end of the toys for tot’s distribution, to the
innisbrook JA Golf Tournament. We also have
completed parking and chain gangs for all varsity football games and chain
gangs for most of the Junior Varsity games. We participate in many Calidesi and Honeymoon island clean ups and city
activities. In total the unit has 2312
hours out of our 2500 hour goal. We encourage as many cadets to come, so if
you sign up, please show up! It will help your neighborhood, your unit, and
yourself through getting a Community Service ribbon. The Ribbon is obtained by either a predetermined number of
community services cadets have completed (i.e. 10 out of 15), or the number
of hours a cadet has. Thank you for
all your help and I hope to see you at more of our Community Services! By: Community
